Key Policies All Academy Students Should Know

Note to Students

This article highlights a few important policies that apply to you as an Academy student. These policies aim to protect your learning experience and ensure fairness for everyone enrolled. For complete and detailed information, please refer to the official Terms & Conditions. As a student, you are expected to stay updated with all applicable terms throughout your journey.

1. Portal Access & Payment Dependency

  • Your learning access begins only after your full payment, EMI setup, or loan disbursal is completed and verified.
  • If your payment is delayed or the EMI setup fails, your portal access may be paused.
  • Content lock can be done from nxtwave team.
  • Even if you discontinue learning midway, you are still liable to pay EMIs or loan amounts unless you have successfully completed a refund request within the eligible window.

2. Program Upgrade Policy

  • If eligible, you may upgrade to Smart Career Plus or Genius Career Plus programs.
  • The upgrade process includes:
    • A full one-time payment, or
    • An advance payment, followed by the remaining amount within 20 days
  • All upgrade-related payments are non-refundable
  • If you make only a partial payment and don’t complete the upgrade, the amount paid is adjusted against your current program
  • Once upgraded, any existing EMI or loan plan is cancelled, and your new access begins after the complete fee is paid

3. Internship Terms – Smart & Genius Career Plus

To become eligible for paid internships under Career Plus programs, you need to successfully complete specific Growth Cycles (GCs).

Key Notes:
  • “Completion” means finishing lessons, assignments, projects, and final assessments as defined by the program.
  • Internships may be remote or in-office, based on company preferences.
  • There is no guaranteed stipend.
  • You must appear for all interviews and join if selected. Failing to do so will make you ineligible for internships related to that GC.
  • Internship offers are based on your performance and selection by the hiring company, not just eligibility.

4. Refund & Payment Terms

  • You are eligible for a refund only if you raise the request:
    • Within 7 days from your Learning Start Date, or
    • Within 60 days from the date of e-NACH or loan setup, whichever comes earlier
  • If you opt for the Full Payment Plan, you are eligible for a refund within:
    • 30 days from your Learning Start Date, or
    • 60 days from the fee payment date, whichever comes earlier
  • To request a refund, send an email to payments-support@nxtwave.tech from your registered email ID.
  • Once approved, the refund is processed through Razorpay. You receive a payout link that remains valid for 72 hours.
  • The refund amount is calculated as: Amount paid – applicable foreclosure charges
  • If the refund window closes, your EMI or loan repayment obligations continue as per schedule.

5. Refund Process Timeline

  • Once your refund is approved, it is processed within 2 to 15 working days.
  • Razorpay sends you a payout link to your registered mobile number.
  • The link expires in 72 hours, and if you don’t claim it, the request is considered closed.
  • If you enter incorrect UPI or bank details, the company is not liable for any loss.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

  • All learning content — including videos, mock tests, assignments, and materials — is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.
  • You must not copy, share, or sell any part of the course content.

7. Account Use Restrictions

  • Your account is non-transferable and should be used only by you, the enrolled student.
  • Sharing login credentials or allowing others to access your account is strictly prohibited.

8. Prohibited Conduct

  • Actions like reverse engineering, scraping content, or uploading harmful material are not allowed.
  • Any misuse may result in suspension or permanent removal of your portal access.

9. The Criteria for Completion of the Academy Program are as follows

  1. Attend and complete all the Modules along with practice sets
  2. Score above 75% in all the assessments
  3. Complete all projects with the given requirements and pass all the plagiarism checks
  4. Clear Project Verification & Viva
