Course Exams is a feature designed to help you evaluate your learning and track your understanding across different topics within your course. These exams are placed at the end of each course to make sure you grasp the key concepts before moving ahead. They come with timed assessments and score visibility—so you can continue learning with confidence.

2. Purpose and Design Rationale

  • Objective: To strengthen your learning through structured assessments and to help you identify areas where you can improve.
  • Design Intent: The interface has been thoughtfully built to provide a smooth exam experience. It includes:
    • A clear timer
    • Progress indicators
    • A helpful tooltip (like “How do Course Exams work?”) that introduces the feature when you first use it

3. How It Works

Step-by-Step Guide:
  1. Head over to the Course Exams section in your Learning Portal.
  2. Choose the exam linked to a specific Course.
  3. Read the exam instructions—you’ll see the time limit and question format.
  4. Begin your exam and complete it within the given timeframe.
  5. Submit your answers.
  6. Your score will be displayed after submission.
  7. You can choose to retake the exam on the next scheduled date to improve your score.
Interface Info:
  • Dashboard shows: upcoming exams, completed exams, and scores
  • Questions include: MCQs, coding exercises, and short answers
  • A countdown timer tracks your remaining time
  • No instant feedback is shown—only the final score is visible after submission
  • Marking scheme and instructions
Note: The dashboard is provided exclusively to 2025 LPOAD students.

Notes
  • Course Exams are available for students who joined on or after August 7th, 2023.
  • Proctoring: This means your exam session will be monitored through your camera to ensure fairness and integrity. Keep your camera turned on throughout the exam.
  • Eligibility: To be eligible for a Course Exam, students must complete all learning modules, practice exercises, and assignments for that course.

Upon completing every course exam, your performance will be graded from A to E. Please check the ‘Instructions’ page of the course exam for detailed information about the grading system. You will have a total of 10 Course Exams till Growth Cycle 5:
