What is Auto Pause?

Auto Pause is your backup plan when life gets hectic or you fall behind on learning. If your progress drops below 50%, the system automatically pauses your course for a week. This gives you space to catch up without getting overwhelmed by pending sessions. You donโ€™t need to worry about doing anything manuallyโ€”the system checks every Sunday night and pauses your learning for the next week if needed.

When Does Auto Pause Kick In?

Auto Pause is triggered when:
  • Youโ€™ve completed less than 50% of your unlocked sessions in your current Growth Cycle.
  • There are more than 1 week of sessions left to be unlocked in the same Growth Cycle.
  • You still have pause weeks available (minimum 1 left).
  • You havenโ€™t already manually paused your course.
This check happens every Sunday at 10:30 PM.

What Happens When Youโ€™re Auto Paused?

  1. Youโ€™ll get a notification:
โ€œYour learning progress is below 50%. To help you catch up, your next week has been auto-paused. Resume anytime from your profile settings.โ€
  2. Next weekโ€™s sessions wonโ€™t unlock.
You can use this time to review older sessions or clear your backlog.
  3. Youโ€™ll still have access to:
    • All previously unlocked content
    • Gamified features like streaks and XP (as applicable)
  4. You can resume anytime by going to your Profile > Learning Schedule and clicking Resume Learning.

How to Resume Early

If youโ€™re ready to learn before the week ends:
  • Go to Profile > Learning Schedule
  • Click Resume Learning
  • Confirm the action and your sessions will unlock immediately
If you donโ€™t do anything, your sessions will unlock automatically once the pause ends.

What If You Stay Inactive?

If you donโ€™t resume learning for 12 weeks, the system will stop auto-pausing and simply start unlocking sessions again as usual. So, donโ€™t worryโ€”you wonโ€™t be stuck forever.

Why Auto Pause Matters

Sometimes you may not realize how much backlog has built up. Auto Pause steps in to:
  • Give you a breather
  • Prevent burnout
  • Help you catch up
  • Let you return when youโ€™re actually ready to learn
Itโ€™s like hitting the pause button on a video, instead of letting it play in the background while youโ€™re away.
